Several years ago my husband, an independent Baptist pastor, began to be dissatisfied with VBS materials on the market. Many were using other versions of the Bible and became very “watered-down” in their presentation of the Gospel - the whole purpose of having a VBS program in our church. It was then that we began writing our own materials for use in our own church. The results were fantastic! MANY precious young-souls were won to Christ through the teaching of these lessons each year. Other churches became interested in these materials which finally led us to making them more widely available.These manuals include everything you would ever need to put on a great week of Vacation Bible School: workbooks with worksheets for each day, memory verses, lessons, promotion flyer, coloring contest master, certificates, tips, ideas, - a complete week all theme-based. Even if you have never put on a VBS, this manual will explain all you need to know to have a successful week. All sheets provided are copy-ready. No more buying too many expensive workbooks. You copy only what you need. Since we are to be good stewards of the Lord’s money, this is a very cost effective way of putting on a great VBS program. Funds normally used for workbooks can then be put to use in other areas to make it a week the kids won’t soon forget. At the age of 16, our youngest son wrote his first book entitled What Could Possibly Go Wrong all about the life of a PREACHER'S KID. He wanted to publish his own work, knowing more would come later, and publish the lessons and books written by his dad, mom and siblings. From this we decided on PK (Preacher's Kid) Publications. God has richly blessed our family, the Curingtons, with four children who are married with families of their own all fulltime in the ministry in Ohio, North Carolina, Oklahoma and England.
